Two & Through

I just got home from the hospital and a very uncomfortable sleep on the sofa bed (back feels great). Sarah & I had our second (and last) baby girl last night. Calynn Ross Ellicott was born 6 lbs 9oz 18 ” at 8:15 pm EST on November 2nd 2007. She is doing fantastic, looks just like her sister…in fact she had the identical measurements (weight/length).

Sarah is doing killer! Its seems that maybe there is some truth to the theory that the second one comes rather fast. We arrived at the Hospital at 3:00 pm after handing off McKenna to a rather tired and somewhat concerned Brother & Sister n law (Evan & Kim), who by the way drove 6+ hours to enjoy a nice weekend with us before the baby arrived, only to find themselves thrust into a suto Parent position for an undetermined amount of time (They did GREAT by the way). Anyway, we arrived at 3, and Sarah delivered 5 hours later. In fact, at one point during this time she was on the phone with her clients re-scheduling appointments (too funny). She literally pushed for only 5 minutes and BOOM…baby.
