Here we come…only two days left, and yes…we will do the “Leap of Faith”

Up close and personal

A huge Manatee surfaced the other day right next to my buddy Winston & I while we were surfing.  Really cool considering I had never seen one in the wild. Scared the Crap out of us for a minute or two…fortunately he had the same disposition as my dog Oso “Tell me about the rabbits”.

Braveheart

Super hot day today. McKenna & I decided to paint a little. I couldn’t help but take her picture because it reminded me so much of Braveheart.

Great Surf

Thanks to Hurricane Bertha, we had great surf all weekend.

Sarahs new (used) ride

July 11, 2008

Yes it is true… A minivan. Fortunately I surfed great waves today, and bought a bunch of beer for tonight to make me feel a little more like a Man. Jokes aside…Great deal on a 2004 Honda Odyssey. Fully loaded with all the cool stuff. Power everything…one touch door opener, DVD player, xm radio, captain seats, leather, low miles…ect. I am happy for Sarah. She did it all on her own…I was the HEAVY during negotiations…but other than that…all Sarah.

A minivan :(

July 4th 2008

July 6, 2008

Our Friends/Neighbors Scott & Jodi hosted a 4th of July Celebration. Loads of fun thing to do for everyone…zip line…swing…pig pick…juice/beer/food…rock band…bean bag toss…& of course fire works. All of  the kids , as well as the adults seemed to have a blast. We were quite impressed with McKenna , who made it till 10 pm with no meltdowns at all. Super fun gig. Well done Scarola Family. Happy 4th, enjoy the pics.

Totally CRAZY Day w/kids running all over the place. McKenna celebrated her 2nd Birthday in style with a Backyardigans theme…lots of friends…and of course…a cake. Needless to say we were all tired by the end of the day. Enjoy the pics.

Seattle

June 11, 2008

We had a KILLER time in Seattle…despite the chilly weather. Arrived Friday night at around midnight (the girls slept most of the flight). We were greeted by Anne Marie (Nona) Jimmy Rossi (Papa Rossi) & of course my Mom, who flew up for the long weekend.  Next day, Jim’s nephew Carlo hooked us up with fantastic tickets to the Mariners game (Seattle won 5-0). Calynn had her baptism on Sunday at St.  George’s (same Church McKenna, Sarah, Anne Marie & Sarah’s Grandmother were baptized at…pretty cool). Nona (Anne Marie) hosted a wonderful party shortly after…loads of food and spirits. Monday we all went to the Seattle Zoo. Super impressed, with lots of Great attractions (not to mention we did have a killer guide…What up Loren).  The tribe wrapped up the weekend with a mellow evening in preparation for the trip to San Diego Tuesday morning. Attached are pics from the Seattle leg…enjoy.
